To develop a trend prediction report for 2024,
for two of the following categories: Beauty, Health and Wellness, Food and Drink, Retail, Clothing/Fashion, Travel and Hospitality. Our momentous moment allowed us to drive our research forward, kickstarting our project's insights and analysis.
'A World of Evolving Technology' Concept:
RESPONSE:
Our project began with a significant momentous moment: the Queen's death and the new Prime Minister. This led us to contemplate the future during this uncertain time. We've observed global drivers such as advancing technology and shifting demographics, all leading to the topic of change. As society evolves, people are becoming more conscious about where they shop. We focused on fashion and health and wellness, recognising that brands must adapt to diverse consumer needs using technology. With more people using technology for health, brands should provide digital support. Additionally, consumers are demanding more control over how the fashion industry portrays diversity. They are advocating for brands to communicate inclusivity and authentic representation in their fashion and marketing.
OUR TREND STATEMENT:
Looking ahead at 2024, consumers will lean towards authentic representation to embrace inclusivity within a dislocated world. Brands will have to become more adaptive to meet consumers needs in a world of evolving technology, as conscious decisions will be prioritised by consumers.
